Home after another epic 5 hour night of talking new music for the GIT Award 2015. I realise it sounds OTT but its genuinely so life-affirming being round a table with so many like-minded people who buzz off the new music in Liverpool - special shout out to Shell Zenner (Amazing Radio/Wichita podcast etc) and Dot Levine (UK Music) who made the trip from Manchester & London respectively. After six months of chit chat, debate, pizza and a whole load of fun the shortlist is nearly there. When it all starts you never really know how its going to finish up. But once again, its been a pleasure to be doing something like this - and the end result, seeing the bigger picture makes it feel all the more special. Exciting doesnt do it justice... Great night. :)
