Hooray! Alt E has adopted another tiger from The Wild Animal Sanctuary. This stealthy creatures name is Kamal and he goes to Jared & Jamie Bodine, our most recent featured installation. Kamal was rescued as part of the New Orleans SPCA confiscation. Three tiger cubs were confiscated from a man who was living in his car with the tigers. They were being kept in airline crates inside his car and were only taken out whenever the man needed money, as he used them in a photograph for money scam. The New Orleans SPCA ended up confiscating the tigers and called on the Sanctuary to rescue them. When picked up, all three cubs were suffering from nutritional deficiencies and needed to be put on special diets to help them recover. Unfortunately, one of the tigers passed away due to complications caused by malnourishment, but Kamal and his brother Diesel survived and are doing wonderfully now, playing all day in the Sanctuarys pool.
