Hot Tip: Life is busy, and for some families having a consistent daily/weekly routine is not an option for whatever reason at this stage in their lives. Buuuuut children need SOME sort of consistency so that their world makes tangible sense to them. So, choose "ONE CONSISTENCY" that WILL happen EACH DAY. This might be that each morning on the way to Kindy, your child gets to choose the music. Or, every night, there is story time, with which ever parent that is home and available. Or each day you all share the "downer" of your day and then the "upper" of your day. If you can choose ONE consistency to o occur in your life, the benefits for your child will shine through their behaviour.
