How many people shower with frilly soap or brush your teeth and are thankful for the paste and soap? Today, the youth went to a homeless shelter and we delivered 60 bags of shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant etc. We made special sets for the children who are homeless. When we arrived, they were soooooo thankful to have a big tube of toothpaste it was a humbling experience. It broke my heart and made me thankful for what I have. Such precious children there who through no fault of their own were homeless. When I say homeless I mean they were on the street till they were taken in by the shelter. If you have soap, or hygiene items you would be willing to donate for the next trip please let me know!!!!! We went bowling afterwards and were very entertained by the dancing man in the lane beside us. I must say that was quite fun.
