Hows your childhood like? Mine is filled with memories of my late dads fantastic cooking. I have always love nasi goreng, particularly my dads version of nasi goreng hijau. As much as I LOVE his nasi goreng, I HATED to wait for it, it took him 1.5 hours to complete. Unfortunately, my love for food does not equivalent to my love and patience for his plate of nasi goreng hijau. Nanti dik, rempah belum garingwas always his reply despite me throwing tantrum. I guess his PATIENT and DETERMINATION for good food despite time consuming has shaped my passion and patience, for baking. It takes alot of time for baking. Its not as simple as taking a recipe, follow whatever it tells you and just put it in the oven and bake. You have to understand your ingredients,your methods, know your equipment and many more. Keburukkannya adalah MASA, Kebaikannya adalah RASA. Look deep, discover your passion, Love what you do and Do it right.
