I HAVE TO SHARE THIS SICK SHOW WITH YOU GUYS! KILLER 13th Floor Elevators reunion show audio straight from the VHS master. Roky CD Club Rules! This show was awesome! Apparently, Roky had been playing with whichever band his Management foisted upon him at this time (Cornerstone, Nervebreakers, more...). This reunion gig was set up by his Management too and Roky rebelled by almost refusing to play this gig. He told my friend, Mike Jensen, before he went on: Im going to screw this up Mike watch. Im sick of being told who to play with. Im going to screw this up Mike. Watch me screw this up... He went out there and broke a string (deliberately?) and then paced back and forth on the stage in a defiant manner until (I think) John Ike Walton pointed him back to the microphone.
