I LOVE it when God gives me EXTRA blessings and lifts my spirit - TopicsExpress

I LOVE it when God gives me EXTRA blessings and lifts my spirit here in Uganda. Went to Church at Victory City Church – great sermon. Then needed to go to our local Supermarket – Capital Shoppers where I was going to pick up some packing tape and a ream of paper. After getting off the boda boda and walking towards the store – I heard what sounded like church in the basement parking lot. I decided to go and see what church was meeting where the cars parked. I found in the corner of the parking lot 7 Capital Shoppers workers praising and singing before the Lord. OH MY GOODNESS. They blessed my socks off. They were worshipping the Lord right there in the basement parking lot – some on their knees in the dirty cement. After about 20 minutes of joining them and having an awesome time worshipping and praising the Lord – the leader of the group (by now there were 12 of them) ask me to share for about 10 minutes. I proceed to tell them how and why Loving One by One Ministries is serving in Uganda. The “pastor” leader said that just last night he was praying to God to lead him to preach to the internationals – and here I show up. He had shared that he was in prison and found Christ. This group of supermarket workers meet EVERYDAY from 12:30 – 1:00 pm in the parking lot structure – they call the House of the Lord. I am sure I will be joining them more often. When it was over with tears of joy streaming down my face - they all prayed for our ministry and me. I asked them if they would sing one more song just so I could video tape them. Running short on time as they needed to get back to work – they quickly sang a song – but it wasn’t anything like the worship and praises I experienced with this group of mighty warriors for the Lord. Walking back into the store with many of them I proceed to shop. Seeing several of them in their store departures and hearing them call me Mukuwo (Friend) made me smile. After shopping I went to catch a boda boda back home and as always several of the drivers wave at me when they see me. One boda boda driver quickly came over and the front of his bike said “God Cares”. I told him I liked what the front of the bike said and he proceeded to tell me “God is the giver of all things good – he is the only one to solve our problems.” To which I said “Amen” Thank you Lord for the little reminders you keep giving me that you are with me here in Uganda every moment of the day.
