I REALLY DO TRY TO BE A LOVING PERSON... but someone became very angry with me yesterday for un-friending them. I never unfriend people to be unkind. Nor will I unfriend people for having a different opinion than I do. But I will unfriend someone for disrespect. I do believe Friend implies mutual courtesy & respect. If you reach out to me, I will NOT ignore you, but I will respond, even if I may not have the answer you want to hear. Likewise, if I reach out to you, I would hope that you will respond, and not ignore me. But, if we dont at least have mutual respect, then there is probably no basis for trying to pretend friendship on Social Media... I want to make room to bring like-minded people into my circle ... but my circle must be made of people who have mutual respect for each other... And bottomline: Just like you reserve the right to determine who you want in your circle, so do I. I hope this helps for any parties concerned. ;-)
