........................................I REST MY CASE!.......................................... In days gone by I have been accused of preaching too much about love. I reject that allegation! Ive not preached enough about the love of God. Gods Word Translation says it like this, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (GW) 4 Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isnt jealous. It doesnt sing its own praises. It isnt arrogant. 5 It isnt rude. It doesnt think about itself. It isnt irritable. It doesnt keep track of wrongs. 6 It isnt happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth. 7 Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up. Then Paul caps it of with verse 13. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (GW) 13 So these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the best one of these is love. Preached too much about love?.....NO WAY! Jesus taught love your family, love your friends love your enemies, love sinners, love everybody. Galatians 5:6 says faith works by love!!! And John made it clear in 1 John 4:8 that........... GOD IS LOVE! Preaching too much about LOVE?.....No Way ladies and gentlemen! We havent preached enough about love.
