I WILL RESTORE YOU, SAID THE LORD: History is dated with many atrocities which has stripped mankind off our God given dominance. From the moral bomb of sin which eroded our dominance over creation in the garden of Eden to the atomic bombings in Japans Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Aug 1945 by the US allied forces which rendered the once fertile land to waste and unproductive fields to date. The Bible enjoins us to reflect on the deepening erosion of our moral campuses with the resultant effect of mass human killings which is now a common place all over the media. From Middle east to Iraq, organised attacks and secular insurrection and rebellion in London, war in our homes and in the Church, even subduing each other in Gods house where wearied souls should yearn to find sollace. STOP: Joel prophesied many years ago in 2:25: The years that locust, palmer and cankerworms have eaten will be restored. David echoed this in Psalm 23: 2-3: God is seeking to make us lie down in green pastures and to lead us besides quiet waters. The intention is to restore us. Jesus said The thief came to steal, kill and destroy but I came to give you life in abundance that your joy may be full (john 10:10). You cant do anything about what is gone, but u can do a great deal about what remains. Dont fold your palms with the dross of yesterday, it will only block your restoration and blessings of today. God desires your restoration even more than you do. I believe and I am blessed. God bless you. Obed.
