I am blessed beyond measure! Thank you for all the great birthday wishes and the extra sentiments regarding my new house. God has surrounded me with an overwhelming amount of friends and I am without words to give thanks! (and that is rough for me...I always have words!) This weekend has been filled with a mixture of emotions. I have been elated and filled with joy as I move stuff from one place to another. Friends have come along side to help transport and pack items and even clean and fix my new home. I had a pre-birthday celebration Saturday evening with a cake and candles and then a lovely dinner out last night. And yet during the happy moments, I still had the down times while remembering my mom. It was four years ago, yesterday, that she passed away. Birthdays can be quite rough when a loved one (especially a parent) passes on the same day, but God is awesome and has now allowed me to find new joy during my birthday month--one I know my mom would be happy for me....I think now even more that He prepared this house for me just within the perfect timing. So yes...a mixture of emotions, but ultimately, this has been a great birthday weekend!
