I am excited to tell all of you that I just finished my book, that my niece, Darlene, gave me for Christmas. I dont read a lot, mainly due to me reading the Bible. With me having a Study Bible, I find myself not being able to quit reading it. I have woke in the middle of the night, with excitement to read it. Ive always thought that the Bible was boring. Ive been involved with God and His word, since I was born. I never left it and still I thought the Bible was confusing and not in my interest. When my daughter got me my Study Bible, I found it so exciting to go from Book to Book, I read it all the way through. It took me a year, but I did it and took notes as I went. With my mom at Ruby Memorial, off and on in 2011, I always brought it with me. Once I was reading it, she told me that I seem to like reading the Bible and that she has a hard time understanding it. Thats when I told her it was a Study Bible. It gives the meaning of words and the understanding at the bottom of the page. I guess Im telling you this, because thats why I dont read much. That sounds crazy, but if Im going to read in bed or before breakfast or a night I cant sleep, then I want it to be the Bible. My niece got me a book, called The Shack. It is written by William Paul Young. He wrote it, based on his friends experience with the Trinity. Darlene, I couldnt wait to fix breakfast, so I can start reading again, afterward. I couldnt wait until it was time for bed, so I can continue reading it again. I found myself thinking about it during the day, but yet, not sure if the things he said happened to him, really happened. Once I got to the end, it hit me like a ton of bricks!! I just finished it. Thank you for getting that for me. I love you so much and I thank God for you being in my life, everyday :-)
