I am frustrated to tears right now. Have been on the phone with my insurance all morning. Last year I fell and fractured the roots of my front teeth. I spent 8 months trying to save the teeth but will ultimately need implants. (I cannot explain the pain in my teeth and head) I went to an oral surgeon and was told that they were filing prior approval. I called three times since from August to December and they told me they were waiting on approval. I called insurance today (for the 4th time) and they never received a request. I called the oral surgeon back to find that they couldnt find my file because the Dr left the practice without any notice to me. After talking to the dentist who referred me, the receptionist made me feel worse by shaming me by telling me it was my fault the oral surgeon didnt sent it to the right spot. So here I am over a year later, still with fractured teeth and no closer to getting them fixed. Calming and quick resolution prayers are appreciated.
