I am full-term pregnant and still in denial about having this baby. I am married to a great guy and we have two wonderful young kids. The thing is, we were done having kids. I had a copper IUD placed and it failed after two years. I had PPD after my other children and I am so scared about it happening again. As soon as I found out we were preggo, my hubby went and had his vasectomy. Im paranoid that this method of birth control will be ineffective as well....the stats show that IUDs are supposed to be more effective than a vasectomy! My confession, as callous as it may sound - I think not being able to prevent pregnancies despite your best efforts can be as difficult to cope with as having issues with fertility! I say this as someone with immediate siblings who have had to use IVF. The only surefire way to not get pregnant is abstinence...sooo not an option!!
