I am honored to share my project with the GRU community at the invitation of NU alumna Dr. Seretha Williams! Wildcats supporting each other! Thank you. Grateful. This documentary pays homage to my mother (Dr. Georgianne Thomas, creator and executive producer) and her Spelman College classmates. Since I broke what would have been a third-generation tradition, I thought I would try to make up for it and use my NU degree (RTVF) and produce/direct a documentary about these amazing women. It received two major awards at the 2013 Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles. Still humbled by that...Thank you all for the love and support.
