I am posting this video for two reasons: to show how awesome my pit bull Mika is and also to show an appropriate correction. Lucy and Zoey may be little but they needed to be corrected here for ganging up on Mika when hes not in the mood to play. I let this go on longer than I usually would just to show Mikas tolerance. But I give two verbal corrections of eh eh paired with a snap, pointed finger at them, and my body language going into them (spacial pressure). Lucy responds then but Zoey does not so she gets a physical correction of a little poke on her hind quarters. As soon as the girls complied I told them good and walked away. My training is mostly centered around the pressure on pressure off concept. When I am asking something the pressure goes on, whether thats with leash pressure, body language(spacial pressure), etc. When they comply the pressure come off and they receive positive reinforcement (usually a soothing good). This is the easiest concept for a dog to grasp in my opinion, making for less stress and confusion during training.
