I am receiving a lot of flack for my recent Blogs from the Europe - TopicsExpress

I am receiving a lot of flack for my recent Blogs from the Europe trip; especially the blogs where I shared my experiences and perspective about London. Here’s the thing… My blogs are an online journal. The blog is an account of my day-to-day life and thoughts. My blogs is not the same as my teachings. I made the blog public because I wanted to open my life (the good bad and the ugly) to the people who share their lives so openly with me. It was my hope that “taking down the velvet curtain” would destroy the image of the perfected, always joyous guru who is beyond it all, because that image has been damaging people for centuries. In my mind, I cannot teach authenticity, if I am not fully authentic, even if that authenticity is not pretty and even if that authenticity offends people. The blogs were not designed specifically to help people or to be ‘feel good’. The rest of my teachings are designed to help people. My blogs are designed to expose the ‘realness’ of my own day-to-day experience. So I am putting a question forth to you… Do you believe it is important to only hear uplifting things that benefit people directly from a spiritual teacher (if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all philosophy). Or do you believe that the authenticity is the most important thing? Do you wish to hear my unfiltered opinion, even if it isn’t “validating”? Or would you rather I not write blogs on the days that I am not in a ‘purely positive space’ and filter my material so the only thing that goes out is specifically designed to uplift and instruct? There is no right or wrong answer; I genuinely want to hear your opinion. Love Teal Love TEAL
