I am seeking volunteer families/individuals/single parents who are willing and able to host foreign students from various countries. They arrive in August. Host families are NOT paid to host, but are able to claim this on their taxes. Make a student’s wish come true! Please read below for more details. Hello! My name is Priscilla and I am the local coordinator for CETUSA, a foreign exchange student program. It would be a great opportunity to share your life with a foreign teenager. Students attend your LOCAL high school (depending on your residence), have their own medical insurance, and their own monthly budget for anything they may need/want as well as any travel expenses that may arise in the host family. As a host family, you provide a room, 3 basic meals daily, and a loving environment. Here are a few deserving students that are seeking host families: Heidi is a 17 year old from Norway. She will arrive in August and depart in June. Her interests include cooking, reading, singing, playing board games, camping, swimming, volleyball, acting, and watching movies. She can’t wait to eat new foods, watch high school sports, and grow a lasting bond with her new family! Jaime is a 14 year old from Spain. He will arrive in August and depart in June. His interests include bicycling, soccer, watching sports, running, tennis, watching movies, fishing, and football. He comes from a large family and is eager to spend time with his host family! Beatriz is a 15 year old from Brazil. She will arrive in August and depart in June. She plays the guitar. Her interests include baseball, bicycling, reading, acting, watching films, gymnastics, wrestling, painting, basketball, football, and singing. She really hopes to be able to play softball while in the USA and make many memories!! Kraang is a 17 year old from Sweden. She will arrive in August and depart in June. She plays a bit of guitar. Her interests include hockey, reading, singing, watching sports, horseback riding, music, skiing, swimming, soccer, and photography.
