I am so appreciative of some very nice words from an employee that works for our company. She has made it to her 4 year anniversary mark with the company. It was 4 years ago that I really liked her pleasant voice and helpful manner while serving me at a Krystal restaurant. I asked her to come put in an application with ProLex and she got hired on. She expressed to me that there are a lot of employees who just look for a paycheck, but that she has met her calling, and she loves working with our clients, and could not imagine doing anything else. She is the only significant income in her family. Her husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney disease about 5 years ago. He is still on the kidney transplant waiting list for a donor and goes to dialysis 3 times per week. She cares for him and her children, and works at ProLex. She wanted to thank me for hiring her back then, and said that thanks to me and ProLex she was finally able to purchase her own home last June. Her goals are to try and find a way to become a CNA, because she would love to have that title behind her name too. I told her not to give up on that, because you are never to old to learn, and to keep positive that it WILL happen. This is the type of employees that I really love working with... the kind with heart!
