I am so glad I Joined this group! You all are a plethora of knowledge ð Which is why I am throwing this question out to you. As this is my first MQ, I had carefully (or so I thought) picked my fabrics... As I was ironing tonight in preparation to cut in the morning, I noticed that my black is very thin! See through almost! It has a nice pattern though.... So my question..I have some Amish black, fabric...very good quality...do I change out and use the heavier black cotton, or do I use the thinner cotton with the pattern on it for this quilt?
