I am sure some wonder why I want other teams to win whenever Nigeria plays, outside of the fact that I believe we are not as good as we claim or look like we are, it goes beyond that. Thousands of dollars has been spent taking some very important people to Brazil, thousands more being spent on entertainment, we see pictures of our leaders watching the football game and getting excited, we have arguments, fights and parties celebrating football. I am sorry, I cant get into it with this country, we have 200+ girls missing, with claims of knowing where they are and nothing happening, we got news that 400+ bh peeps were caught with a major leader, nothing further, it all just looks gloomy as though someone is hoping it would just go away...then reality strikes, as some are getting excited and jubilating for making it into the next round, a bomb goes off in Abuja, no certain number of how many are dead...the reality is when they do finally tell us how many people really died, it is not just a number, these are real people, someones child, mother, father, husband, wife, friend etc, so while it may seem like a small number, it still affects the whole, there is weeping in the land yet again, we have not even dried our eyes from the missing and the previously bombed yet...when are we going to realise that it wont just go away, we have to take the bull by the horns and get rid of it. So please dont get mad at me for not getting excited about the Nigerian games, I actually secretly wished they would lose and come home. I think the diversion is not really the best. Please, this is how I feel, my country hurts me, it hurts that those who can do something about it are flying all over and having fun. It has not been fixed guys, I can celebrate wins when the girls are back and the bombing stops...≈KDL®™©2014 #whathappensafterthegame?
