I am thankful for my family and friends, the community who supports our little shelter, and the doctors that never give upp. I broke my ankle in two places and my leg in one place a week ago. The hospital took xrays when it happened and said it wasnt broken, just badly sprained. My doctor knew something was wrong. Five days later, Im in a cast, back on crutches and even though my leg doesnt feel great, at least now it will heal correctly. NEVER take the first answer if you think the answer is wrong. By the way, its Shelbys fault that I broke my leg. She was chasing a feral cat and I was chasing her. Cat got away without a scratch. Me, not so much! Kids today!
