I am thankful today for temperance. I wasnt the most hot headed person but I have not always been restrained in my reactions either. I know that comes straight from God. The off color jokes, racial slurs & indiscreet actions of others used to be a trigger for me. I see situatons daily (especially @ work) where in my younger days....I woulda just snapped! Customers are getting worse attitudes every year & it takes prayer & self control to keep composure. I mean will come right in & steal & walk out. Then return what they stole with a smile on their face & want the world handed to them in the process. Some of the responsiblities my boss gave me recently....I did not want.The reason being....I didnt trust my level of temperance. But I see more in myself than I ever had before. Thank the Lord cause these hands know how to war.....but I know a soft answer turns away wrath!
