I am very concerned that so many families are unaware of the State Waiver programs. Here is a wonderful state-by-state service resource guide from Autism Speaks. If your child is not on your State Waiver program and/or Waiting List, apply TODAY. I know the waiting seems overwhelming and it feels unrealistic that your child will ever receive services. Consider this, unless the waiting lists represents accurate numbers, we are not representing the needs of the total community. EVERY state is different - EVERY state calls their program something different.
