Bye-Election: SAY NO To Mimiko And Labour Party on 5th April, 2014. Six years of the Mimiko-led Government has brought nothing but sorrow, hardship, pains and untimely deaths in the land. This election on 5th of April, 2014 presents us with a second chance to chart a new and profitable destiny for the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency. Our people say that the person who has had the opportunity of two husbands can tell the difference between the two husbands. We ask you wherever you are to look around you and ask yourself what evidence is there of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that you can physically point at. FACTS ABOUT MIMIKO Apart from the two category ‘C’ model schools and one renovated market at Igbokoda commissioned by the Mimiko-led administration, no community in Ilaje and Ese-Odo can point at one project in six years. Mimiko sacked over one thousand Local Government Workers in Ilaje Local Government alone after using them for election. So far, ninety billion naira (N90,000,000,000) has accrued to OSOPADEC but can not be accounted for. Administration of NDDC funds under Mimiko yielded nothing .E.g. Ugbo-Oghoye Road that was handled by Moreno could not take-off having spent three billion, nine hundred million naira (N3,900,000,000). The Molutehin sand-filling project awarded at Ten Billion, Five Hundred million Naira(N10,500,000,000) has not taken off even when the sum of three billion, fifteen million naira (N3, 015,000,000) had gone down the drain and the Idi-Epe/Ogo-Oluwayo sand-filling project awarded at the cost of six billion, nine hundred million (N6,900,000,000)naira without any trace of implementation after about two billion naira(N2,000,000,000) had disappeared. Mimiko’s Government of Promise and Fail Over nine hundred million naira (N900,000,000,) had been expended on the Aboto/Atijere road without any trace of road construction. Zion-Pepe/Agerige road flagged off thrice since 2010 but without any sign of road project. Ugbonla/Ayetoro road has gulped four billion, three hundred million naira (N4, 300, 000,000) without a trace of implementation. Oropo road was awarded for three billion, two hundred million naira (N3,200,000,000) but was only graded and abandoned. Igbokoda road dualisation project has gulped one billion, one hundred million naira (N1,100,000,000) so far. Therefore, he can not give our people proper representation. On this note, we urge the good people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency to use their thumbs to say enough is enough
