I dont normally do the FB games, but Ive really enjoyed reading everyones posts on this one, so why not? ;) My number is 12. 1 - I love bright, bold colors - red and deep purple being my favorites. I love funky, bright clothing and accessories. 2 - My middle name is Mae. It is my mothers middle name, and the middle name of *both* of my grandmothers. Most of my mothers side of the family calls me TeresaMae. :D It makes me feel like I should be wearing red gingham and be chewing on a piece of straw. :D 3 - My husband and children are my true treasures in life. Stuff comes and goes, but people, relationships, love - they are eternal and the only thing that truly matters. I also have a truly awesome extended family. Im very blessed with real treasure in this life. 4 - I got married very young. Next year I will have been married twice as long as I was unmarried. Thankful that we stuck together during the hard years so that we could arrive at these really awesome years. ;) 5 - Im a weird mixture of country girl/city slicker, old-fashioned/funky, Rock-n-roll/Country, conservative/liberal. 6 - I love living in the country and I dont ever want to live inside city limits. Something about being surrounded by grass, dirt, trees and rocks makes me feel fully alive. 7 - By nature I tend to have a rather melancholy temperament. I have worked hard to develop a cheerful and upbeat personality. I can manage that *most* days. ;) 8 - I overthink **everything** and can work myself up into a tizzy of worry and anxiety. I fight this tendency daily. I can usually always understand someone elses point of view, even if I completely disagree with it. Sometimes that annoys me, because Id rather NOT understand their point of view sometimes. :D 9 - I HATE it when people are disingenuous. Just be straightforward and tell the TRUTH. Dont try to spin it a certain way. 10 - I love writing, but seem to have lost my writing voice right now. Once it comes back, I plan to write and write and see where it takes me. 11 - Im very home-y. I love home, love being home, love cooking, decorating, crafting, gardening. I love dabbling in old-fashioned arts like soap-making, quilting, etc. I love making things beautiful. I dont accept the American ideal that bigger is better. Ive always loved smaller things - small cars, smaller home, we even had miniature horses. Lol! I think small is cute and cozy. I love antiques and vintage things. 12 - Things have to make sense to me. Laughing is my favorite thing ever. If you make me laugh, I know we can be friends. ;)
