I dont normally get too pissed about things outside of my little world (Welllll, maybe that isnt exactly true.), but the story in the Strib this morning about The Boy They Couldnt Save, really, really pissed me off and once again proved to me how stupid and inept our government agencies really are. The boy THEY couldnt save!!!! Who the hell are THEY and if THEY do exist, why the hell wernt THEY doing their job? You MUST read the story to see where Im coming from or going with my ranting. WWW. StarTribune. Sunday, August 31st issue. Page one. First off the picture caught my eye as it was supposed too of course. Then I read the side notes which in turn compelled me to read the whole story. Two and a quarter pages of crap that got me more and more pissed as I read. The Boy THEY Couldnt Save. I call BULLSHIT and SHAME on all involved that let this little boy suffer from injurys more in his short 4 years than I or most people do in their entire lives. The story goes on and states that 54 similar cases/deaths from abuse have occured since 2005. Do the math here. That averages out to 6 a year in Minnesota alone. WTF???!!! As Penny stated as we discussed this story, everyone that had anything to do with this case or any other like case, should be put on trial in front of a jury of their peers and sentenced according to their findings. BUT, instead, there is always the statement made public that they fell through the cracks Cracks my ass, do your damn job and if need be , and I hate this saying but, step outside the box and do the right thing even it dont, as the story read, meet the criteria. CRITERIA!!!!! Who the hell makes up this criteria crap anyway? Criteria? Criteria!!! Come and visit me and Ill give you some damn criteria to think about!!! I could go on and on but instead I implore everyone who has ever had kids, plans on having kids, or even has ever been a kid, to read this article in the paper this morning. I remind all of you, this is only ONE agency of our present government or culture that lets shit like this happen. Believe me, there are many more. THEY, again, whoever THEY are need to be slapped around a little themselves rather than letting, in this instance, a innocent little boy get bitten, hit, and thrown around like a rag doll, and finally killing him. Again, please read the story and multiply it by all the rest of the crap we are subject to by do gooders and do nothings in our daily lives.
