I felt it was important to post this because I dont understand why the media, shows like Dr Oz, etc., are still promoting the "soy is good for you" when its not?!! Over 20 years ago, I had a conversations with farmers in my area who plant soy in their fields and was curious as why they felt soy isnt good to eat and what companies are buying it from them. They said it was a cheap way at the time to put the nitrogen back in the soil, plus when the plants are mature, its dug up and sold for biofue, hydraulic fluid, lubricants, etc. They said "we dont eat it, we just sell it"!. So if the farmers growing the soy refuse to eat it, then why is it being sold for human consumption ?
