I find it hard that folks are quietly sitting back and letting slopey-headed state legislators pass AgGag laws. First, just on the face of it, they are an assault on freedom of speech, and the freedom to report criminal behavior, as citizens should be anxious to do. Second, what kind of industry seeks this kind of legal immunity/protection unless they are very ashamed, fearful of prosecution, and aware of their bad behavior. Lastly, How can any free people tolerate this type of governmental behavior. Making it a crime for me to report a crime? Well, then you tell me, when and where is it going to end? What civil responsibility will be criminalized next? Voting? No, theres already efforts afoot to make it harder and harder to vote. I guess the politicians are as afraid as the Agrobusiness folks.
