I get home from school tonight and start getting ready for bed when Shae comes in my room and tells me a new pain thats lower in her stomach just started. I can tell its intense because shes shaking as she sits on my bed. So she goes and gets her phone and calls into the hospital. She states her past history and informs them this is different. Shes told to come in and get checked. So we obviously come in! Nurse does the usual check, baby is good on monitor and no signs of contracting. Nurse goes and calls the Dr on call and comes back into room and says shes being sent home. I look at her like really???? Nothing has been done and she hasnt been checked out or seen by a Dr. to rule anything out. I was like is that legal? Check urine maybe? Ultrasound to make sure gallbladder didnt rupture maybe? Make sure babys placenta is okay maybe? So the nurse leaves, comes back in with name bracelet and takes urine sample. Im a little frustrated right now. I shouldnt have to say anything to get something done. Or maybe Im being overbearing! I dont know but I do know this is all getting old! Ugh! Poor Shae, she needs to keep pushing through just a little bit longer! ~ Shaes Mom
