Darkness in My Soul by Dean Koontz (God has gone insane!) 3. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz (Its all about Stephen Gammells art. Everyone knows that.) 4. Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now! by Dr. Seuss (One of the first books I read. On repeat.) 5. VideoHounds Horror Show: 999 Hair-Raising, Hellish and Humorous Movies by Michael Mayo (AKA The Horror Fans Bible) 6. The Cipher by Kathe Koja (The first time I realized there was more to horror novels than King and Koontz.) 7. Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury (Forever October) 8. Busy Penguins by John Schindel (Your brain will never be the same after seeing the penguin pooping.) 9. Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut (I loved this book so much I stole it from my English 12 class. Sorry, Mr. McCord!) 10. My Sweet Audrina by V.C. Andrews (Because you never forget your first exposure to fictional rape.)
