I got the confirmation yesterday that my next brain surgery for chiari will be Nov 12. In 5 short weeks, I will be back under the knife, having part of my brain (the cerebral tonsils) pulled away from being wrapped around my brainstem and then being completely removed. Hopefully this will control my symptoms and help me get back to the old me! This will be 2 brain surgeries in 8 months. The first was absolutely horrible. The worst pain I have ever had in my life. So Im definitely not excited over that part, but I am excited that hopefully the end of this nightmare is in sight and I will be back to normal soon!!! I never thought Id be looking forward to having part of my brain cut out, but its definitely a positive in my eyes!! Id appreciate the prayers as we all prepare to do this again. Its not only hard on me, but the rest of the family as well. In the meantime, I plan to enjoy October! Fall is my favorite time of the year, so today, the kids and I are decorating! Im planning on having my Christmas decorations up before surgery so I dont have to do them afterward, so Im going to enjoy the fall/Halloween decorations as long as I can!!! ☺️
