I had a couple people busting my chops for being negative on these political posts. I try very hard to find something to be uplifted by, but other than our selfless military and our informed educated youth, its hard. I want to say again. Social security is NOT a government hand out, its not taking welfare. It us our money, paid by us, into a system that was supposed to be hands off, and was stolen by our congress and placed into the general fund. Since they make the laws, they broke their trust with us and spent it. They have no right to refer to it as an entitlement, they should return our money with interest. So when you hear ANY politician lump social security into the entitlement column. Raise hell, call, write, do whatever you have to. Our hard earned money has been stolen by congresses for years, and I, for one, an sick of hearing it called an entitlement. Had they done what they promised to do, all the money would be there, with interest. Dont stand for it. Pappy
