I have a confession to make. Its the churchs fault. I wish I could - TopicsExpress

I have a confession to make. Its the churchs fault. I wish I could point the finger at myself but there is too much evidence to prove otherwise. Eight years ago, my two children started attending Awana and JAM. They began memorizing verses and learning godly character traits. Then things got worse. Student ministry gave opportunities for leadership, growth, and development. Pastor Jay s sermon notes began to show up on kitchen counters and on bedroom floors. Worship ministry began to ask them to sing and help young kids sing as well. Strange mission pastors begin to encourage them to do missions and change the world. Sunday night Bible Studies with pork and black beans. College girls who text my daughter to invite her to eat or pray with her. I admit it!!! My children love the Lord and its all the churches fault. LCS, family, and a few others helped along the way too. But mainly I blame the church. Thanks for nothing!!!!!! Or actually.....thanks for everything!!!!!!
