I have been DX with Stage IV metastatic cancer, Each and every day, and several times a day, I am faced with a choice. I can either tap into fear or hope. So I have disciplined myself to transform fear to hope each and every time it arises.In 22 months I have had 4 procedures on my right lung to drain fluid, as well as surgery to seal the leaks. I have had Gamma Knife surgery to burn cancer from my brain on 2 occasions. Thankfully,my second line of treatment is working well. There is a ferocious feature of this disease that at times is so overwhelming it cant be described.I refused to give into the powerful nature of cancer. The endless array of scans, eating the right way,taking 75 holistic supplements a day,the trips to the doctors,the mental exhaustion of dancing with my own mortality.
