I have been a football fan since 1962, specifically a Giants fan. There were winning years, there were losing years. I saw games in Yankee Stadium, Yale Bowl, Shea Stadium, Giants Stadium, Met Life Stadium, even pre-season games in Palmer Stadium in Princeton. I cannot understand how people have gone insane over Fantasy Football. It is, in my opinion, a total waste of time, brain matter, and doesnt have anything to do with the sport of football. It is like the child who writes a letter to Santa Claus asking for all the latest toys and games. Maybe Santa might bring those gifts, but if the child was naughty, it would be a different story. My take on fantasy football is that if you believe that there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or leprechauns bring good luck, carry a rabbits foot, or believe walking under ladders brings bad luck, then go ahead with your fantasy football. May I suggest you make a list of players and chose your team by throwing darts at the list and make your choice where the dart hits. In other words, enjoy your favorite team each week, win or lose, as fantasy football detracts all the fun from the game you are watching!
