I have been an avid reader of Scale Aircraft Modelling since it first issue was publishes 35 years ago. My first contribution to SAM was rejected twice before Alan Hall RIP accepted my article on the IAF fo publication in the April 1998 issue of SAM. I have been privileged and honored to have my models of primarily Israeli Air Force subjects published in SAM for the past 15 years. On my 51st birthday, Jay Laverty and the SAM team, have given me the gift of a life time. The August issue is Scale Aircraft Modelling is dedicated to the Israeli Air Force and it features my Kinetic 1:48 scale Kfir on the cover.
