I have been trying so hard to piece a perfect block with my Viking sewing machine. Have tried different widths of the needle placement. I cannot get the same looking block twice. I have been considering a 221 Singer featherweight because I have heard it is better for piecing. Have been saving up for one but would like your opinions if I should do it or not? Maybe I am just lacking something. I am going to a clinic on Wed on featherweights and he sells them right there , Do you think a featherweight would help? I am not off much but just enough to mess it up and drive me crazy. Thanks for any help and all opinions!
