I have had a real hard time adjust to the fact I can not work as a paramedic right now, due to my shoulder surgery... I really loved what I did, and was proud to put on that uniform everyday, The hardest part is, It was also my family of 22 years.. Being a foster kid, the fire department, and my paramedic job opened up this girl, and made me who i am today.. Today I received a message about one of my family members, that I started my career with , having a CVA.. We are around the same age.. This is what made my family so special, as dysfunctional as we all were at times.... When times get tough, we all stick together.. My friend Zemie has taught most of the EMTs and Paramedics on the streets of Buffalo...He actually teaches these student in high school, and molds them into the fine professionals you count on..
