I have had people stare me down, cross the street so they dont have to walk past, pick up their dog, whisper in their childs ear that those kind of dogs will bite. It is hard to be a Pit bull owner, I feel like Im a bad person or something. But I am proud, so proud of my dogs and I will stand up for the breed the rest of my life. I was one of them once. The people who only beleived what they heard. So what did I do? I adopted a pit bull. ♡ Ive had animal control called on me just because I have pitbulls, they hace never done anything wrong, but people fear them. I dont fit in on my block. I had a neighbor record my 7 month old pit pup wiggle her bum in submission over to their little fluffy dog to meet him. My daughter said, Mommy why is that man video taping her. I yelled accross the street to him in awe after I realized he recorded their meet on his phone. His answer...because I know what kind of dog that is... My response, Have you ever met one? He said no, but never took the time to give her a chance. This is the ignorant world we still live in. ♡ I adopted one and I will never go back. I will make a difference changing minds, one person at a time.
