I journeyed through my photo files to see if I had an image that would fuse to the recipe I wanted to share with you -- Orange Blossom Madeleines -- the essence I woke most deliberately into this day – Neroli blossom and leaf.* I came to realize, that one of my favorite photos of the delicate and ‘aroma absorbent’ tea cakes, made famous with the glorious sensory associations by Marcel Proust, was at a favorite food blog and so I am putting her link here, with the inclusion of the recipe – if she speaks to you, snag her onto a paper, for she will not be archived here and most definitely is expected to become lost into the E.M. Arome feed. This blog is created by the belle Mimi Thorisson and supported in beauté with images by her husband Oddur Thorisson … they met between the worlds of France and Iceland, and now live in Médoc, France with 5 children.
