I have just updated our website (sermaclub)to include the latest information on Round 1 of the NEPG series in Sumter on February 1. Key time will remain 9:00, contrary to our knee jerk reaction of 8:00 after selling out in 19 minutes. Details for the first ever SERMA Enduro-X has also been posted, and we hope to have pictures soon, but here is what it says: SERMA Enduro-X SERMA Clubhouse January 31, 2015 Only $10 per entry. Maximum 50 entries. No AMA or SETRA membership required! Classes: A class, B class, C class and Youth (14&under). Your class will be determined by your AMA or SETRA enduro class ranking. If we have enough interest, classes will be added as necessary, i.e., Women, ATV, bicycle???. This is all about fun, so we are open to anything! $100 CASH bonus to the first rider that can beat Steward Baylor’s time. Practice from 3-5 pm, Racing begins at 5 pm. Races will be timed, not head to head. Only one rider will be on the track to eliminate the chances of being taken out (intentionally or not) by another rider. That will also give everyone “their time in the limelight” to showcase their talents. Round 1, each rider will be timed for two consecutive laps. If weather and time permits, we will have a second round of two timed laps. Your best 2 lap time from either round will be counted and the TOP FIVE from those rounds will move on to the Final Round. Final round will consist of 3 consecutive laps. Rider with the best 3 lap time in his class will be the winner. All participants will be required to wear proper safety equipment.
