I have never heard this song before.. It has messed me up in the good way today. Christians so often focus on our immediate vision, what we think, we feel, the cares of daily life. We dont prioritize correctly, and then blame our schedules or situations for the lack of work toward the kingdom we are doing. We get ourselves into the position of having little to no credibility, of being self consumed and stressed, because we put our central focus on the immediate problems instead of the greater purpose we have. If we would set our focus correctly on the circumference around us, our influence, what we are exemplifying for those around us, then we would be closer to doing what God called us to do. If anyone who knows you on a personal basis would question whether you exemplify Christ or not, that you are a Christian, youre doing something wrong. We get pulled into the constant vacuum of this world, trying to cloud our mind and judgement with selfish worry. God never, ever, told us to do that. As a matter of fact, He sent Christ to say in Luke 10:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. We cannot tell others to give Christ their problems if we ourselves do not carry that rest in our souls from doing the same. There is a HUGE world out there needing changed, starting with the circle of people within your life. Look at the horizon, analyze whether the immediate decisions you are making are having an impact on getting to the greater vision He has called you for. Lord, please, help me help someone. 2 Tim. 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, https://youtube/watch?v=66ZDMpOF8Nc
