I have the best job in the world & work with the greatest most kind hearted people anyone can dream of working with. I also have the most AMAZING group of students this year with the biggest and most tender hearts. Every day I am blessed beyond measure to have each of them in my life. Some of you may know that one of my students is battling leukemia. She was able to join us in the classroom in September & has brought such joy to our lives. You look at your life in a different way when you see a child sick. My students have loved and cared for her in a way that I cant even begin to describe. Kahlans birthday is Saturday and our wonderful lunch ladies made her a birthday cake and we had a birthday party for her today. Miss Jan Gilmore took her shopping for some clothes for her Make A Wish trip to Hawaii to swim with the dophins. Today was overall a blessing for everyone involved in Kahlans life. Happy Birthday Kahlan!
