I have to share this story. ....had lost my wallet somewhere on the streets of Los Angeles today evening. ...as usual we started a search party and after almost an hour of futile attempt gave up and accepted my fate. ....After about 2.5 hours got a call from the front office of my hotel. ...went down and saw this smiling police officer who handed the wallet back to me. ...intact !!!! Apparently an old man walking on the road spotted it lying there and gave it to the nearest police station. ....and they located me - all this in less than 3 hours. ....hats off to LAPD. ....and God bless the elderly person. .....I didnt even get a chance to thank him.....A need very very positive experience nonetheless. ....LAPD you guys are the best in my books at least !!
