I have worked at the Uptown China restaurant for 20 some years now and had asked the owner my friend Yu Mei to find a replacement for me by April. She found someone early and I offered to give up some of my shifts so that we could keep him hes doing a good job his name is Chris. I asked her yesterday if she would mind that I didnt come back from my vacation and I retired from there early and she has agreed. She and the Uptown will always be family to me. As for all the wonderful friends I made that wont change. The timing just felt right and Im thankful for her understanding.
