I heard tell today of a mature WE professional, a certified WE practitioner no less, presumably he had to demonstrate his capacity to WE in front of a broad panel of WE experts to gain this title. One wonders just how long such an examination would last and how long one would have to perform during the practical assessment? Anyway I digress, I heard tell today of his efforts at WEing this week, it seems that his schedule has been ram packed with WE, whole mornings taken up WEing at the desk, afternoons WEing at the coffee machine, even standing late into 17:29 at his colleagues desks depositing one last burst of WE before making his exit. In one particularly insightful moment, he was heard to say, what WE need to do here, is WE need to get this data into a format where WE can do analysis on it and generate something meaningful from it. This inspirational commentary was enough, so I hear to inspire the lowly PhD graduate of Engineering to look on and blinded by the moment, be forced into concurring that WE really ought to do more of that. Naturally not wishing to interrupt the Pythian orations of his mentor he went on about his mundane and largely irrelevant act of work, wishing he had the gift of being able to WE. Alas it takes many years to build up the fluid reserves to hold yourself steady and maintain a continuous flow to WE so effectively. No small wonder that the best WEers spend so many a lunch working so studiously with their clients at one of Londons many restaurants.
