I hope all the runners from yesterday are having a well deserved rest day today. Some nutrition tips and things you should be eating today: - Fruit which is high in antioxidants; berries, cherries, kiwi, melon & citrus fruits in particular. - Plenty of lean protein for muscle repair; aim for 3-4 servings of 100-120g each evenly spaced throughout the day. - Wholegrain carbohydrates such as brown pasta, rice, spaghetti, bread, pittas, wraps. Again 3-4 servings evenly spaced throughout the day. - Also aim for 2-3 snacks throughout the day, good snacks would be bananas, antioxidant rich fruit, homemade smoothies, fruit juices, Greek yogurt, hummus and veg sticks. Have a really chilled out day! :)
