I just finished giving tips on the Rickey Smiley Official FanPage Rickey Smiley Morning Show The Rickey Smiley Show how to get the kids out of their parents bedroom nightly. Remember, it is the MARITAL bed not the family bed. I know its rough at 2am when your son/daughter comes in the room but march them right back (after comforting them) so that you can model independence. Quick Tips: 1) Close your/kids bedroom door 2) If they come in, comfort them OUTSIDE THE BED and walk them back to their room and put them back to bed. 3) If they still cry, increase the amount of time that passes before you go back in and check on them (5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 20 min). At some point, your child will fall asleep on his or her own 4) Reward them for staying in their room longer and all night as you go! Good luck and remember...couples need to be making LOVE at night to keep the relationship together. If you neglect the marriage, youll hurt your kids anyway by breaking up so put your kids to bed in their room, make love and cook them breakfast in the morning! God Bless! drtartt
