I know most of the time we share scripture but today I ask a special thing of all of you. A special prayer for our Christians in other parts of the world but especial in Iraq, Today I receive information. The Arabic letter n, for Nasara(Nazarene, to indicate Christians), was recently painted on the homes of Christians in Mosul, Iraq by IS fighters. Under the Islamic law, the marked homes became the property of the Islamists. IS gave the Christians an ultimatum to convert to Islam, pay a tax, leave or die. Here are some of there statements made by those be persecuted. We have lost all our possessions, but we still have our faith in Jesus. We are in danger. But we serve a mighty God. Please keep these special brothers and sisters in prayer. They are not in a free nation as we are. They are not giving up and they are not conforming to the radicals. We must join them in prayer for safety. They are fleeing to country sides taking shelter in homes and churches. We must be with them in prayer asking for there protection.Guidance to safety. They are taking a stand right now against false Gods and false doctrine.
